Be Aware. Everywhere. Keep at least ten feet away from overhead power lines and call 811 before you dig to avoid underground lines.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at SRE.

Mini-split systems, also known as ductless air-source heat pumps, can be practical options when it’s time to replace or upgrade your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system. A mini-split system heats and cools a home through an outdoor unit that connects to one or more individual indoor air handlers. This allows you to heat and cool specific zones or rooms without overworking your main unit.

With even cooler temperatures on the way, a mini-split system may be just the ticket for helping manage your bill this winter!

In the November 2024 issue of the Today in Mississippi magazine, visit Vardaman — the “Sweet Potato Capital of the World.” The folks at Topashaw Farms showed us how the magic happens. Also, stop by Sweet Potato Sweets where visitors can find all kinds of baked goods made from the pride and joy of Vardaman.

Locally, you can read about the upcoming retirement of capital credits to SRE members, how SRE aided in power restoration after Hurricane Helene, and how SRE volunteers in our local communities.
